The Mission of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) is to bring together professionals in engineering and engineering-related fields worldwide, to increase our national engineering capabilities through the exchange of information and promoting emerging technologies, applications and practices.

There are 118 SAME Posts (chapters) located in 15 countries. These Posts are divided into 16 regions worldwide; each region has its own leaders assisting our Posts. It is the Posts that are the heart of SAME, where members meet to network and exchange ideas.
