Presentations
The November SAME meeting featured a
presentation by Mr. Herman Ledoux with
Los Alamos National Laboratory on the Chemistry and
Metallurgy Research Replacement Facility (CMRR). This is a DOE
mission-critical facility designed to maintain and continue technical
capabilities, such as analytical chemistry, materials characterization,
and metallurgy research and development, and to relocated these
capabilities from the existing Chemistry and Metallurgy Research (CMR)
facility to modern laboratory facilities that meet or exceed current
safety and environmental protection standards. (Be
