High School at New Mexico Military Institute Junior College at New Mexico Military Institute BS Degree (Civil Engineering) from University of New Mexico New Mexico National Guard from 2001 to present Took Command of the 920th Engineer Company 2006-Present Civilian Job-Bohannan-Huston Inc. in Albuquerque; Community Development and Planning (Commercial) Deployed from May 2009 - May 2010 Currently live in Los Lunas, N.M. 920th Heavy Horizontal Engineer Company History Unit was stood up in 2006; soldiers were school trained however, we sustained training utilizing local municipal agencies (i.e. city, county, and DOT) equipment. During deployment the 920th completed over 70 engineer missions consisting of airstrips, road improvements, force protection, etc. Unit operated in over 30 different areas across Regional Command East Afghanistan. Primary mission was to provide ensured mobility (mobility, counter mobility, and survivability). Forward strength was 164 soldiers strong comprising of 144 from New Mexico (majority from Roswell, Rio Rancho, Hobbs, Carlsbad, Las Cruces, and the Albuquerque areas) 20 from the IRR. 920th considered the most highly decorated guard unit that has deployed ISO a GWOT mission to date.
