Announcements MESSAGE FROM YOUR PRESIDENT This year has flown by! It seems like it was only yesterday that we started 2007 with an interesting meeting on “A Systems Approach to Tile and Stone.” What a great day we had at Carolina Lakes for our golf outing on March 23rd. It funded a $1000 scholarship for a deserving student. Summer was highlighted by a tour of Palmetto Brick in Cheraw, SC. We have had some good programs at Carolina Skies and will end this year with our Christmas lunch on December 6. Please remember to bring a toy or a check for Toys for Tots. A big thank you to your officers/Board of Directors...Jesse Barker – Past President, Ted Chalgren - Membership, Mark Hall - Programs, Ed Henson- Vice President, Rich Wargo -Secretary/Professional Development, and Dave Yensan - Treasurer. I also want to recognize our sustaining members...AMEC, CAPE, MACTEC, Monteray Construction, Pangea Group, Stantec, S&W of SC, Woolpert, and Zapata. All of these folks appreciate your support of the Carolina Midlands Post. To say I am grateful for my time as your president would be woefully inadequate. It has been my pleasure and honor to serve SAME and the Carolina Midlands Post. I look forward to next year when Ed Henson will be our President.
