The 2012 EJETS is designed to meet the needs of both military engineers and facility managers in the European theater and companies desiring to do business with the Department of Defense (DOD) in Europe and Africa. The conference offers attendees up to 12 Professional Development Hours (PDHs) over a two-day period, with sessions covering the most important topics facing our military engineers and DOD installations: joint engineer contingency operations, energy, environment and facilities asset management. EJETS speakers hail from the European Region and include other DOD representatives.
In addition, EJETS is designed to provide briefings to companies interested in doing work in Europe and Africa, with sessions on the requirements for U.S. firms as well as briefings on projected DOD programs and projects. Of particular interest is the work ahead to relocate the U.S. Army in Europe (USAREUR) to Wiesbaden and to design and construct a new hospital to replace the outdated Landstuhl Hospital that has been so important to our wounded warriors from Iraq and Afghanistan.EJETS features an Exhibit Hall for outstanding networking during the breaks and two networking receptions.
