MONTHLY POST MEETINGS

The Fort Benning - Columbus Post meets the third Thursday of each month.   The meeting is typically held on Fort Benning in Building 6, Room 225.

Upcoming Meetings:

16 October 2008, 1130-1300  
We will meet in Building 4, Room West47 (Infantry Hall). The Savannah District Area Office has volunteered to host the visit to the Trainee Barracks currently under construction at Harmony Church - a $240 million contract.

20 November 2008, 1130-1300  
We will meet in Building 6, Room 225. Presentation by Tate Jones of LandAir Surveying. Topic: 3D Laser Surveying Technology.

No December Meeting -- Happy Holidays!!

January meeting at the new National Infantry Museum -- to open March 09.

    Directions to Bldg 6 ---  from Interstate 185
  • Interstate 185 dead ends on Fort Benning, proceed through Access Control Point
  • Turn right on Dixie Road, follow signs to Main Post
  • You will pass the Follow Me Golf Course on your right and go through several lights
  • Turn right on Edwards Street
  • Turn immediate left on Eckel Street
  • Turn right on Riordon Street
  • Turn right in Bldg 6 (Meloy Hall) parking lot

    Directions to Bldg 2411 ---  from Interstate 185
  • Interstate 185 dead ends on Fort Benning, proceed through Access Control Point
  • Turn right on Dixie Road, follow signs to Main Post
  • You will pass the Follow Me Golf Course on your right and go through several lights
  • Continue on Dixie Road until you have to turn right on Jecelin Road
  • Turn right on Jecelin Road
  • Turn left on Indianhead Road
  • Indianhead Road dead ends at Bldg 2411
  • Turn right into parking lot
