Hafa Adai to all members and friends of SAME Guam Post! Important Notice! A change is being made regarding the previously announced golf tournament to benefit both MathCounts and Charlie Corn scholarship fund. The SAME Guam Post and GSPE event coordinating team have recently concluded that there would not be sufficient funds generated from a joint event to fund both requirements. The GSPE – Guam Society of Professional Engineers will therefore continue with organizing the golf tournament in March to benefit only MathCounts. The Charlie Corn Golf Tournament will be organized by SAME Guam Post at a later date – perhaps June time frame. It will be announced later. Meanwhile, SAME members are encouraged to contribute to MathCounts within the next few days by sending a check to SAME Guam Post, P O Box 1438, Hagatna, GU 96932. As previously announced, SAME and NSPE both support MathCounts at the National and Local levels. It is for a good cause – please therefore give generously. To date, we have received only four checks.
