President's Message

We are pleased to have the Chief of Engineers, LTG Robert L. Van Antwerp, as our guest speaker for the December luncheon. LTG Van Antwerp will be in New Orleans to officiate at the IHNC Closure Structure groundbreaking ceremony and to attend the annual Mississippi Valley Flood Control Association meeting. I realize that it will be only two weeks since our previous meeting held in conjunction with WEDA; however, we must take advantage of LTG Van Antwerp's availability and I encourage your usual good attendance.

In keeping with the holiday season which is fast approaching, I offer my sincerest wishes for a very joyous and safe observance of the associated seasonal festivities and a very happy and prosperous New Year.
