Mission and Post Overview


The mission of the Society of American Military Engineers is to promote and facilitate engineering support for national security by developing and enhancing relationships and competencies among uniformed services, public and private sector engineers, and related professionals. The Pensacola Post of SAME includes over 100 military and civilian members and 21 sustaining member firms from the Florida Gulf Coast.

Luncheon meetings are normally held on the Thursday of the third week of each month at various locations. Information for the monthly meetings and upcoming events are communicated through a monthly newsletter. Guests are always welcome to attend. We invite you to browse our website for further information on our programs and people. 30 November - Small Business Conference - Due to low registration, the Small Business Conference has been cancelled.




Member News & Highlights


SAME Pensacola Post contributed $1,000 toward the Pensacola Math Competition hosted by Pensacola High School Math Club.

SAME Pensacola Post awarded 7 $1,000 scholarships to local engineering/science students this year. Please help support our scholarship program by participating in our Golf Tournament in October. All proceeds from the Golf Tournament will go toward the scholarship program.

The Pensacola Post is looking to include features for Company of the Month and Member of the Month in future newsletters and on the post website. The Post is seeking input from our sustaining members and others on any exciting projects, promotions, and achievements they wish to publicize.
