Centered in Rock Island, Illinois, the Rock Island Post serves the Upper Mississippi River Valley, with members in Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Kansas, Indiana and Ohio. The post boasts over 250 individual members and over 45 sustaining member firms. Monthly meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month. In addition to hosting an annual golf outing and commander briefings, the post is also active in various community activities.

January Meeting Information:

Please join us on Friday, January 20 for our annual special evening meeting at The Outing Club in Davenport, Iowa. This meeting is an opportunity to thank and recognize those who have served over the past year and to welcome the new officers. The evening will feature a Change of Command ceremony. Awards will be given to recognize exceptional contributions to the Post, followed by remarks from the outgoing Post President COL Shawn McGinley. Installation of the 2012 Post Officers and Directors will be conducted and incoming Post President Gary Meden will end the evening by sharing his vision for the Post in 2012. All past Paul Norton Award winners will be recognized for their past contributions to the Post's success and are encouraged to attend. Please invite your spouse or significant other. There will be a joint board meeting for incoming and outgoing officers at 5:00pm. See the Post Notes for more details.
