Recent Board Meeting Minutes June 19, 2006 May 15, 2006 April 17, 2006 March 21, 2006 Post By-laws By Laws Membership Notes I remember a time not so long ago when I first heard about a SAME meeting. I didn’t go because I thought that "this is for senior leaders and I don’t really belong." Well, one month a "senior leader" came by my office and invited me to come along. That invitation and having a friend by my side was the catalyst to my participation in SAME to this day. So, what’s the lesson learned here? BRING A FRIEND! Invite a young engineer who probably feels the same way I did. I challenge all you "senior leaders" to bring a young member and buy their lunch and sign them up. If you do not see your firm’s name on this month’s letterhead it’s because National has not listed you as a member. If you have signed up you might want to give them a call. Each Sustaining Membership comes with five individual memberships. Fill them up! One of the big initiatives for SAME is Young Member participation.
