MAY’S
MEETING
The
next Society of American Military Engineers meeting will be on 17 May at 1130
at the Officers-club. The guest speaker will be Mr. Bruce Holland. He will be discussing Natural Resources at
Barksdale AFB.
JUNE’S MEETING
June’s meeting is
tentatively scheduled for June 20 at the O’club. The topic will be Hospital Construction.

POST’S SAME SCHOLARSHIP
The
Shreveport Post has awarded its Society of American Military Engineers
Scholarship to a Louisiana Tech University student for the current spring
quarter as well as next year. The
recipients of this scholarship are:

(Civil Engineering)
Winter & Spring

(Mechanical Engineering)
These
recipients will be recognized in the fall at one of our monthly meetings.

MISSISSIPPI REGION CONFERENCE
The
Lower Mississippi Region will hold it’s annual Conference Sept 20-22,
2000. The conference will be held at
the Le Meridian Hotel in the beautiful city of New Orleans. Any questions
