The Southern Nevada Post
of the Society of American Military Engineers brings together professional
engineers and those in engineering-related fields
Post membership meetings
are scheduled for the fourth Tuesday of the month (Executive Board meetings follow immediately
after the membership meeting). Each month's meeting is hosted by one of our Sustaining Member firms. Topics
run the gamut of the engineering field of interest. Further, the hosting firm
sponsors a Door Prize, which is raffled off to the attending members. Proceeds
from the raffles go towards the Post's Education and Mentoring Fund. Meeting
venues vary and are announced in the Post's monthly Newsletter.
Occasionally,
we do get the chance to hold meetings in Nellis’
beautiful Officers' Club, allowing our Southern Nevada members the opportunity
to visit Nellis
Air Force Base.
