1/12/06 MathCounts is THIS weekend! On Saturday, February 18th in Torgerson 2150 - Participation is highly encouraged, if you plan to participate, E-mail C/Stickler (stickler@vt.edu) NO LATER THAN 2300 on Tuesday 14 Feb. - You do not have to volunteer for the whole day. Any help is appreciated. - The event will begin early and is expected to run less than half of the day. The schedule is as follows: -- 7:45 - 8:15 Volunteers arrive. -- 8:30 - 9:15 Registration outside Torgersen 2150 -- 9:15 - 9:30 Welcome & Instruction -- 9:30 - 10:15 Sprint Round -- 10:15 - 10:30 Snack Break (food served on 2nd floor Torgersen and students going down to 1st floor Torgersen tables) -- 10:30 - 11:15 Target Round -- 11:15 - 11:45 Team Round -- 11:45 - 12:15 Lunch (same setup as break) -- 12:15 - 12:45 Countdown Round -- 12:45 - 1:15 Awards We hope to see you all there!

10/18/05 - Calendar of events updated. Go check it out to see upcoming S.A.M.E. Actvities. - Sunday, October 23nd, is the interview day for all S.A.M.E. Taps. If you haven't signed up, sign up with C/LaPlante at 421 Rasche Hall as soon as possible. - November 4th there will be a meeting for all of S.A.M.E. with Major Hogeboom after the VTCC Regimental Run. This meeting will cover various topics including what engineers do in the military and a project to create a bridge over the river that VTCC freshman must cross during the second Caldwell March.

09/09/05 - On September 19th at 2100, there will be an interest meeting for new Taps in RTVL. All engineers, freshmen and upper class, are encouraged to attend. - Engineering Expo (September 19th-21st) |
